About: Ladytron formed in the summer of 1999 and began recording tracks for their debut album; "604", shortly after. The album was released in early 2001 on the Emperor Norton/Invicta HIFI labels to critical acclaim, by which time their single 'Playgirl' was bringing them some national and international attention.
