Michael Moore’s New Film for Free Download
Michael Moore’s new film Slacker Uprising will be available as a free download. The free download will be available September 23 – October 7 through Blip.tv, after which point it will be sold as a DVD. The film is a mash-up of a 62 US city tour where Moore confronted young voters before the 2004 Kerry-Bush election.
There doesn’t seem to be any model for profit here aside from minimal advertising placed around the Blip.tv site. According to Ars Technica, “Allegedly, neither he nor the distributor plans to profit.”
